How To Help Develop Your Baby’s Hand Skills

Posted on

As your child grows their hand-eye coordination grows with them. Within the first few months muscle coordination is at it’s lowest. When your child finally discovers that they can manipulate, grab, and feel objects, things begin to change. Tim’s Unique Products crafts personalized puzzle stools that will help your child develop their hand skills over time.

Our personalized puzzle stools are handcrafted by Tim himself! Each piece is painstakingly crafted to eliminate rough surfaces, pointed corners, and splinters. Your child’s name will also be meticulous carved out of the wood and the wood letters are all hand painted in primary or pastel colors.

Early on your child’s eyesight will develop so that they can begin to recognize colors. Our brightly painted wooden blocks will mesmerize babies. The wooden blocks are also perfect to help babies discover different shapes and textures. As you child grows they will become more focused on tactile experiences. A baby will begin to develop some of their fine motor skills around 6 months old. A personalized puzzle stool will allow your baby to grab letters of their name without fear of splinters. Around 8 months your baby will be able to entertain themselves by banging the brightly colored letters together to make noise. Then around a year old you will begin to see your baby replacing the letters into the proper shaped location!

Although a personalized puzzle stool does not seem like a learning device, it has many functions. All functions will vary as your child develops. Visit Tim’s Unique Products to have a personalized stool built for your child!
